Enjoyed a wonderful, though too brief, stay in Sirmione at the Hotel Eden. Our room (203) had the most wonderful view overlooking Lake Garda and a large balcony. The room was large, airy, clean and furnished with modern furnishings & plenty of storage space. Located adjacent to the main square, it was ideal for dining and shopping, and also near the dock where boats came and went for touring the lake. My girlfriend and I booked this hotel under the incorrect impression that pets were permitted (we have a large Golden Retriever). The staff apologized when they saw the dog, and told us we would have to vacate our room. They then moved us from the main hotel and relocated us to an upgraded suite away from the majority of the other guests. We are so appreciative the management allowed us (and the dog!) to keep our reservation.
